What’s better than the Super Bowl?
That’s right, the Super Bowl Half Time Show…. especially when it features the hotness of J. Lo and Shakira, shaking things that I haven’t seen shook for a long time. When I first started watching the super bowl, I was ready for the game. I had my cold beer, tons of snacks and my number sheets, all laid out in front of me. I was ready for the action to begin. I was ready to watch freshly made commercials that cost a fortune to air. Yep, all set. Then the half time show rolled around.
I was in no way, shape or form ready for what I was about to see. Shakira took the stage first, shaking her beautifully shaped hips to the beat of the music with a scantily clad outfit that was killer. Not only can she sing and dance, she can totally jam on a guitar. And what was with the rope? For a minute, I had visions of her doing bad things to me with that rope, but that is for another blog down the road.
Then it was time for J. Lo. My gawd…. that black leather outfit she wore was so smoking hot. And when she turned around to let us preview her amazing behind, I just couldn’t move. She slid around that stage, much like the girls of Jill’s do. The next thing I know, she is in a new outfit that was lacy and left not much to my imagination. Then Bamm! She’s on the pole. You already know that pole dancing to me is an art form and one of my absolute favorite things to watch, and that why
Jill’s is my favorite place to be. But J. Lo handled that pole like it was her bitch. She showed such true form, balance and coordination. Her body was rock solid and ripped. And to top it off, she is 50 years old. That truly tells me that age doesn’t t matter…. any age to me can be sexy when the woman takes care of and respects herself.
But now comes the controversary over this show. Men most likely loved it the most…. some women may have felt threatened that their husbands, boyfriends or significant others may have been drooling in front of them. Some secure women probably loved it too, since most women support and cheer each other on. Some people thought it was inappropriate for kids.
And the list goes on and on.
All I can say is I loved it and I love pole dancing and I love Jill’s. And thanks to Pepsi for sponsoring this show for me. I truly loved the entire Super Bowl experience.
